University of Dubuque Extends Lead After Day Two of the 2026 A-R-C Men's Golf Championship

Luke Harwick Continues to Pace Field; Simpson's Blake Perrin Fires Low Round

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- The University of Dubuque men's golf team extended their team lead after day two of the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Men's Golf Championship. The Spartans shot 299 as a team on day two to lead the field by 17 shots ahead of the conclusion of the championship tomorrow afternoon. Luke Harwick for the Spartans remains in the lead in the individual race, but the low round of the day came from Simpson's Blake Perrin (-1, 70) in gusty conditions. 

The championship finishes at Glen Oaks Country Club tomorrow, Tuesday, April 28, with Coe, Loras, Simpson teeing off the first hole at 9:00 a.m. Central, Buena Vista, and Wartburg will be in the second group to tee off at 9:45 a.m. The University of Dubuque, Nebraska Wesleyan, and Luther round out the tee times beginning at 10:30 a.m. 

Tomorrow will be the coldest day of the week, but will be an exciting finish with the automatic berth on the line to the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship in Florida in a few weeks.
