CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) is proud to unveil its new website with SIDEARM Sports, a leading provider of collegiate athletic web solutions. This redesign marks a fresh, clean look to the league’s website ahead of the 2025-26 academic year.
“We’re excited to unveil a fresh new look that reflects who we are today and where we’re going as a conference,” A-R-C Assistant Commissioner Ali Wilson noted. “This redesign is more than just a visual update—it’s about improving the viewer experience, making information easier to find, and showcasing the heart of what we do.”
The A-R-C was committed to its student-athletes, fans, families, and member institutions throughout the process with a goal to make a user-friendly experience while also being able to navigate critical information more easily. As it stands, championships and standings are the two most viewed items on the league website, so that can now be seen front and center when you enter the website.
“This reimagined website is a powerful tool for promoting the achievements and stories of our student-athletes and institutions, while also strengthening the sense of unity that defines the American Rivers Conference," added Marie Stroman, A-R-C Commissioner. "Its launch reflects our commitment to collaboration and innovation as we work together to amplify our impact and elevate the Division III experience. I am especially grateful for the dedication and vision of Assistant Commissioner Ali Wilson, whose leadership was instrumental in making this new site a reality."

Nationally respected for excellence in NCAA Division III athletics, the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) has a tradition dating back to its founding in 1922 as the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Association and adopted its current name in 2018 to reflect its strong Iowa roots and growing regional footprint. The A-R-C is a collaborative community that champions the holistic development of student-athletes, uniting member institutions in a shared commitment to academic achievement, athletic distinction, and leadership.
The A-R-C is home to nine full-time member institutions: Buena Vista University, Central College, Coe College, University of Dubuque, Loras College, Luther College, Nebraska Wesleyan University, Simpson College, and Wartburg College. Luther College has announced its departure from the conference, effective at the conclusion of the 2025–26 academic year.
