Wartburg Survives Opening Round of NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament

ST. PETER, Minn. - The Wartburg College Knights survived a close game in the opening round against Wisconsin-Stevens Point. The Knights grabbed a 57-56 win to continue to represent the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) in the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Tournament. 

Lauren Golinghorst led the Knights with 14 points to be a strong force to push Wartburg to victory. Sara Faber and Jaedon Murphy both accounted for ten points in the win. 

Wartburg will face Gustavus Adolphus, Saturday, March 8, at 7:30p in St. Peter, Minnesota.
