33 A-R-C Student-Athletes Named to Honors Court; Five Teams Honored with Team Excellence Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) recently announced the Team Academic Excellence Awards and Honors Court recipients. Earning Academic Excellence Awards from the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) were Central, Coe, Loras, Luther, and Simpson.

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize men’s basketball programs that completed the 2022-23 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior, and graduate student men’s basketball players who finished the 2022-23 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. 
 
Over 1,800 players earned spots on the NABC Honors Court and over 300 programs received NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards for the 2022-23 academic year. 
 
The NABC recognizes men’s collegiate basketball student-athletes and programs in all NCAA divisions and the NAIA, who excelled in academics this past season. The NABC Honors Court highlights the talents and gifts that these men possess on the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom.
