CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- The Nebraska Wesleyan men’s basketball team fell to Washington University in St. Louis (22-5), 79-58 the Second Round of the 2020 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament.
The Prairie Wolves were led in scoring by
Cordell Gillingham (15) and
Jack Hiller (11).
Nate Bahe added nine points, followed by
Clay Reimers with eight. Reimers posted a team-high 12 rebounds while Bahe grabbed five.
The Prairie Wolves end the season with an overall record of 25-4 and a 15-1 A-R-C record. NWU won their third consecutive conference tournament title, and for the second straight season went 15-1 in conference play. They garnered MVP (
Nate Schimonitz) and Coach of the Year (
Dale Wellman) honors.
