The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) announced Hannah Halverson as the next Deputy Commissioner on June 1, 2022. Halverson served as the Ethnic Minority and Women's intern for the A-R-C throughout the 2021-22 academic year. The 2025-26 academic year will be Halverson's fifth academic year with the league. 

During her time as an intern for the conference, Halverson was actively involved in all aspects of the conference operation and administration, including public information, championships, A-R-C Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Halverson also served as an assistant for the 2022 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championship and 2022 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship, both of which were hosted by the Conference.

As Deputy Commissioner, Halverson has continued to be actively involved with all aspects of conference operation and administration. She served as the Tournament Director for the 2023 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship and Co-Tournament Director for the 2024 NCAA Division III Lower Midwest Wrestling Regional. 

While with the A-R-C, Halverson has served as a site representative at the 2024 NCAA Division III Baseball Regional hosted by Wisconsin-Whitewater. She began a four-year term on the NCAA Division III Wrestling National Committee in September 2024. 

Halverson is an active member in Women Leaders in Sports.

Halverson, a native of Janesville, Wisconsin and 2017 graduate of Craigh High School, earned a bachelor's degree in management from Luther College in 2021. While at Luther, Halverson was a four-year member of the softball program and was named All-Conference and NFCA Scholar Athlete.
