CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- The Coe College Kohawks grabbed two wins on Saturday of the 2026 American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) baseball tournament to force the if necessary game on Sunday, May 10 at 11:00 a.m. The Kohawks are set to meet No. 4-seed Wartburg again.
The Kohawks opened up Saturday with a dominant 15-4 win over top-seeded Luther College in an elimination game. Coe turned back around, got arms ready, and took the field again knowing they needed a win to remain alive another day this season. Coe picked up a 9-6 win over Wartburg to force the winner take all game on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The winner of Sunday's game will receive the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. Wartburg is on the hunt for their 11th tournament title in program history and first since 2017 while the Kohawks are looking for their sixth tournament title and first since 2024.
