CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- The Loras College Duhawks and Wartburg College Knights grabbed home victories in the opening round to the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Men's Tennis Tournament semifinals this evening, April 30. The Luther College Norse and Coe College Kohawks will take to the courts for the first time this postseason.
The top-seeded Norse will host fourth-seeded Loras this evening. These two teams met on February 14 in Decorah where Luther grabbed a 7-0 victory. The first serve is set for 4:00 p.m. tonight from Decorah, Iowa on the campus of Luther College. The Norse are looking to clinch a spot in the tournament championship for the 21st time in program history while the Duhawks are looking for their first title match appearance.
The second-seeded Kohawks will play host to the third-seeded Wartburg College Knights tonight. These two teams previously met on April 21 in Cedar Rapids and Coe came out on top, 7-0. The Kohawks are looking to make their 21st appearance in the championship match and the Knights are in search of making their first title match appearance. First serve is set for 4:00 p.m. from the campus of Coe College in Cedar Rapids.
The tournament champion receives the league's automatic berth to the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Tournament.
