Central and Wartburg Advance to A-R-C Women's Tennis Tournament Semifinals

DUBUQUE, Iowa / WAVERLY, Iowa -- In the first round of the 2026 American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Women's Tennis Tournament, the Central College Dutch and the Wartburg College Knights picked up wins to advance to the semifinals on Thursday. 

The third-seeded Knights picked up a 4-1 win over sixth-seeded Loras in the opening round. Wartburg will now take on second-seeded, and defending tournament champions, Coe College on Thursday in the semifinals of the A-R-C Women's Tennis Tournament. The semifinal match will take place on the campus of Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start time. 

The fifth-seeded Central College Dutch grabbed a 4-0 win on the road over fourth-seeded University of Dubuque. The Dutch will now travel to Decorah, Iowa to take on the top-seeded Luther College Norse in the semifinals. The semifinal match will take place on the campus of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa and is slated for a 4:00 p.m. start.

Semifinals - Thursday, April 23
No. 5 Central at No. 1 Luther - 4:00 p.m.
No. 3 Wartburg at No. 2 Coe - 4:00 p.m.

Championship - Saturday, April 25
Semifinal #1 Winner vs. Semifinal #2 Winner - 1:00 p.m.
