Loras Men's Basketball Claims A-R-C Tournament Title

Fourth Title in Program History

DUBUQUE, Iowa -- The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) men's basketball tournament has come to an end as the Loras College Duhawks used a strong second half to run away with their fourth title in program history. 

Second-seeded Loras College defeated fourth-seeded University of Dubuque this evening in a packed arena on the campus of Loras College.

The Duhawks will learn their destination for the first and second rounds on Monday, March 2 at 12:00 p.m. on the NCAA Selection Show. 

First Round - Tuesday, February 24
No. 5 Buena Vista University (53) at No. 4 University of Dubuque (76)
No. 6 Wartburg College (50) at No. 3 Coe College (66)

Semifinals - Thursday, February 26
No. 4 University of Dubuque (93) at No. 1 Nebraska Wesleyan University (85)
No. 3 Coe College (71) at No. 2 Loras College (72)

Championship - Saturday, February 28
No. 4 University of Dubuque (62) at No. 2 Loras College (83)
