Medals Awarded at the 2025 Men's Tennis Individual Tournament

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- The first American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) multi-school event of the 2025-26 academic year is in the books. The 2025 Men's Tennis Individual Tournament took place in Waverly, Iowa and Waterloo, Iowa on Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20. Medals for the entire tournament were awarded in eight flights - A-, B-, C-, D-, and E-Singles and A-, B-, and C-Doubles. Headlining the winners were A-Singles Champion Joao Benvenutti of Luther and A-Doubles duo of Benvenutti and Abhay Chhabra of Luther. 

A-Singles: 
Champion: Joao Benvenutti, Luther
Runner-Up: Bryton Short, Coe
Third Place: Juan Hernandez Herrera, Luther

B-Singles:
Champion: Geoffrey Stoughton, Luther 
Runner-Up: John Gustafson, Wartburg
Third Place: Gennaro Dimuro, Luther

C-Singles: 
Champion: Nirbhay Chhabra, Luther
Runner-Up: Horia Popa, Loras
Third Place: Hayden Martin, Loras

D-Singles: 
Champion: Jake Westberry, Univ. of Dubuque
Runner-Up: Hinata Hayashi, Wartburg
Third Place: Justin Walker, Wartburg

E-Singles: 
Champion: Luke Gogolewski, Loras
Runner-Up: Rylan Wobken, Nebraska Wesleyan
Third Place: Danny Santoy, Univ. of Dubuque

A-Doubles: 
Champion: Abhay Chhabra / Joao Benvenutti, Luther
Runner-Up: Gregor Gottein / Jake Nelson, Luther
