CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) is excited to announce and introduce its inaugural Social Media Internship Cohort for the 2025-26 academic year. Ten A-R-C students will soon begin the remote internship with the conference office.

“I am excited to work with the ten social media interns during the 2025-26 academic year,” said Ali Wilson, A-R-C Assistant Commissioner. “Going through the interview process with these students was energizing and I cannot wait to see what social media content can be produced this year from this talented group.”

The internship has a goal of giving students the opportunity to gain experience in the social media content space, specific to a conference office. Interns will be responsible for developing content that is relevant to the A-R-C and promotes the brand. The internship cohort will have the opportunity to learn from industry professionals throughout the academic year. Interns will augment the conference's presence on each campus to increase interactions with digital platforms, specifically for current student-athletes. This remains a goal consistent with the league's strategic plan launched earlier this summer.
