CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) has a proud and historic tradition in Division III men’s wrestling and the tradition continues this year with 26 national qualifiers representing all ten weight classes. The A-R-C took Region VI titles in all ten weight classes. The conference will be trying to better its total of 11 All-Americans from a season ago when it was held in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Loras, who finished second at the regional championship, looks to have a strong push this weekend in Rhode Island after advancing seven wrestlers, the most of the region, to the national stage. Wartburg won the Region VI championship and will advance six wrestlers this weekend. Coe and Luther both saw four wrestlers advance to the national tournament while the University of Dubuque will travel with three. The Dutch of Central, under first-year head coach Landon Williams, will have two national qualifiers.
Wrestling will begin on Friday, March 14 at 9:00a (CST). The second session on Friday begins at 4:00p (CST) to determine all 80 All-Americans. Saturaday's wrestling will begin at 9:00a (CST) with the finals session beginning at 5:30p (CST) with the Parade of All-Americans followed by wrestling beginning at 6:00p (CST).

About the American Rivers Conference
The Conference dates back to December 8, 1922, when representatives from 12 colleges got together and formed the "Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Association." Honoring its heritage in Iowa and its expansion outside the state, the American Rivers Conference brand was established on August 9, 2018, to build on the academic and athletic success provided by its legacy, the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The A-R-C has nine full-time members: Buena Vista University, Central College, Coe College, University of Dubuque, Loras College, Luther College, Nebraska Wesleyan University, Simpson College, and Wartburg College.
