Loras Anna Durak Concludes Season as All-American at 2025 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Anna Durak of Loras College concluded her swimming career at the highest stage, the 2025 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships. 

Durak was invited to the championship event in three events after a successful regular season, including the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Championships where she broke numerous championship and all-time records. 

On day one of the NCAA Championship, Durak competed in the 200 IM. In prelims, she hit the wall in a time of 2:04.32 to finish 13th and advance to the consolation finals. In finals, she finished with a time of 2:03.57 to finish 12th. Her time of 2:03.57 is a new A-R-C all-time record. 

Durak's next event was the 100-yard backstroke on day three of the championship event. She finished eighth with a time of 55.36 in the prelims to advance to the championship finals. She made her mark in the championship finals finishing third on the podium with a time of 54.66 to earn All-American honors. This was the first All-American honor for the A-R-C since adding it as a championship sport during the 2022-23 academic year. 

On the final day of competition, Durak competed in the 200-yard backstroke advancing to the consolation finals after posting an 11th place finish with a time of 2:01.26. She finished in the consolation finals with a time of 1:59.56 to finish ninth overall. 

Durak had a strong showing for the Duhawks and the American Rivers Conference. She broke her previous all-time A-R-C records in the 200 IM by 0.22.
