SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- The Wartburg men's team had an impressive third-place team finish at the 2025 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships. The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) saw six individuals earn All-American status on Saturday.
The Wartburg men finished with 133 points as a team to finish just behind SUNY Geneseo and Wisconsin-La Crosse in the team race. The Loras men finished 24th with 599 team points. On the women's side, the Knights finished 25th as a team with 565 team points.
The top individual finisher of the conference on the men's side was Isaiah Hammerand of Wartburg for the second consecutive season at the national meet. He finished in tenth place with a time of 24:09.9 in the 8k event. On the women's side, Keelee Leitzen of Loras led the way in 59th with a time of 22:20.2 in the 6k event.
