Eight A-R-C Women's Volleyball Student-Athletes Earn AVCA All-Region Honors

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Eight American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) women's volleyball student-athletes earned All-Region honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as announced earlier today. The honorees were headlined by Region 9 Player of the Year, Delainey Winkel, and Region 9 Coach of the Year, Karrah Davis. 

There are 14 All-Region team members and six honorable mention selections for each of the ten regions. Additionally, a Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Coach of the Year were selected for each region. The 200 student-athletes who made up All-Region represent 96 different schools.

Nationally respected for excellence in NCAA Division III athletics, the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) has a tradition dating back to its founding in 1922 as the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Association and adopted its current name in 2018 to reflect its strong Iowa roots and growing regional footprint.
