2025 A-R-C Women's Soccer Tournament Begins Saturday, November 1

Simpson and Wartburg Set to Host Opening Round

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The 2025 American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Women’s Soccer Tournament is set to begin on Saturday, November 1 in Indianola, Iowa and Waverly, Iowa after another exciting regular season. The six teams in this year’s tournament are battling for the conference’s automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Tournament. 

The first matchup in the opening round will be played in Waverly, Iowa as the No. 5 seed Central College Dutch (9-4-3 overall, 3-3-2 A-R-C) travels to face the host, No. 4 Wartburg College (8-9-1 overall, 4-3-1 A-R-C). These two squads met on October 11 in Pella and the Knights came out on top, 2-1. 

This matchup in the conference tournament first round is set for 2:00 p.m. from Salzwedel Field on the campus of Wartburg College. 

In the second matchup of the opening round, the No. 6 Luther College Norse (7-8-2 overall, 3-4-1 A-R-C) will travel to Indianola, Iowa to face the No. 3 seed Simpson College Storm (10-5-2 overall, 6-2 A-R-C). The two teams met on October 22 in Indianola and the Storm came out with the win, 3-0. 

The matchup in the first round is set to take place at 7:00 p.m. from Buxton Stadium on the campus of Simpson College. 

The University of Dubuque Spartans (10-1-6 overall, 7-0-1 A-R-C) have secured the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament for the first time since 2014. UD finished their regular season with a 3-0 win over Buena Vista to claim the outright title. The Spartans will host the lowest remaining seed in the bracket after the first round in the semifinal match on Wednesday, November 5 from their home field, Oyen Field, in Dubuque, Iowa. 

The Duhawks of Loras College (13-1-2 overall, 3-4-1 A-R-C) enters the conference tournament as the No. 2 seed and has earned a first-round bye. Under Matt Pucci, the Duhawks only loss was to UD in league action. Loras will face the highest remaining seed in the bracket after the first round of action. The Duhawks will host the semifinal match on Wednesday, November 5 from the Rock Bowl. 

The championship match, with the berth of the 2025 NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Tournament on the line, is set for Saturday, November 8 at the highest remaining seed in the bracket. 


Admission: 

Ticket prices will be $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for students without a valid A-R-C ID and seniors (60 and older). Children 5 and under, and all current students with valid A-R-C ID shall be admitted free.

No. 6  Luther College at No. 3 Simpson College - 7:00 p.m.

Semifinals - Wednesday, November 5

Championship - Saturday, November 8
