LONG GROVE, Iowa -- The University of Dubuque Spartans fired the low team round of 306 in the second round of the 2025 American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) Women's Golf Championship at Glynns Creek Golf Course. UD holds a 34-shot lead heading into the final day of the championship. The Spartans Drew Hoffer has a two-shot lead in the individual race and UD's Payton Morton fired the low individual round of the day of 75 to jump into third place.
The championship finishes at Glynns Creek Golf Course tomorrow, Monday, October 13 with Luther, Central, and Nebraska Wesleyan teeing off the tenth hole at 10:00a. Loras, Buena Vista, and Simpson will tee off from hole one beginning at 10:00a and Univ. of Dubuque, Coe, and Wartburg will round out the golfers with tee times beginning at 10:45a.
It will be a fun race to the finish line tomorrow in Long Grove, Iowa as an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship remains on the line. The Spartans look to win their sixth conference championship in the last seven seasons.
