Nebraska Wesleyan's Postseason Run in the 2024 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament Comes to an End

No. 19 Prairie Wolves Defeated by No. 1 Hampden-Sydney, 68-60

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. – The No. 19-ranked Nebraska Wesleyan University Prairie Wolves tremendous season came to an end in the quarterfinals of the 2024 NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Tournament. The Prairie Wolves were defeated by No. 1-ranked Hampden-Sydney College by a score of 68-60 on Saturday evening.
 
Nebraska Wesleyan finishes their 2023-2024 season with a 26-5 overall record while posting a 13-3 mark in conference play. The Prairie Wolves earned a share of the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) regular season title and picked up an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Tournament after dropping the conference tournament championship game. They advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2018.
 
The No. 19-ranked Prairie Wolves were led in scoring by Carter Glenn with 17 points. Peter Lash followed with 13 points and eight rebounds. Conner Brown led the defense as he had two steals.
