Wartburg Men's Cross Country Claims Runner-Up Finish at 2024 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships; Three A-R-C Runners Finish with All-American Honors

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Wartburg College men’s team had an impressive second-place team finish at the 2024 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships. The American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) saw three individuals earn All-American status on Saturday. 

The Wartburg men finished with 173 points as a team to finish behind Wisconsin-La Crosse in the team race. The Loras men finished 27th with 619 team points. On the women’s side, the Knights finished 26th as a team with 577 team points. 

The top individual finisher for the conference on the men’s side was Isaiah Hammerand as he continued his impressive season with a 9th place finish in the 8k race with a time of 24:19.8. Jacob Green followed him in 15th place, and Lance Sobaski in 31st to have three Knights finish as All-Americans this season.
