Clasen continues to add to his accolades this season after being announced earlier this week that he was named an AFCA Second-Team All-American and earlier this month being named to the D3football.com All-Region 5 Second Team. Clasen was the only student-athlete from the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) to earn AFCA All-America honors. This season, Clasen also picked up A-R-C Offensive MVP honors and was named to the conference’s First-Team All-Conference team for the second time in his career. Clasen broke a 28-year-old school record in total rushing yards in a season with 1,569. The senior running back carried the ball 257 times for an average of 6.1 yards per carry this season. Clasen had 21 rushing touchdowns in 14 games played this season, while adding a receiving touchdown. In addition, he returned nine kickoffs for a total of 201 yards.

Grover was named the D3football.com Region 5 Defensive Player of the Year after being named the A-R-C Defensive MVP on his performance this fall. He was named First-Team All-Conference for the first time after earning second-team during the 2021 campaign. Grover totaled 111 tackles on the season, with 63 of those tackles coming on a solo effort. The senior also snagged five interceptions and received fumbles.

Playing consistently throughout the season and making key plays during postseason, Rochford finds himself earning Second-Team All-American honors. Rochford was named to First-Team All-Conference this fall after leading the Knights in the secondary. Rochford intercepted 7 passes on the year, had 17 pass breakups, and recovered one fumble. He also added 70 total tackles for the Knights defense.

Wartburg finished their season with a 13-1 record, with their only loss coming in the National Semifinal game to the University of Mount Union last weekend.
