Matt Sacia (Sr., Quarterback) received honorable mention recognition.
Rademaker, is earning his first All-American accolades. A second-team D3football.com All-West Region selection a season ago, he became a two-time honoree with selection to the first-team this year. The Greene, Iowa native finished his senior season with 73 tackles (35-solo, 38-assisted), 20.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, two forced fumbles, and one recovered fumble. The defensive tackles' TFL per game average ranks 10th in NCAA Division III and his sacks per game average stands at 77th.
Wartburg senior quarterback Sacia, a two-time Gagliardi Trophy finalist, received honorable mention All-American recognition, the first All-American accolades of his career. The back-to-back American Rivers Conference Offensive MVP also earned his second-straight second-team All-West Region honor in 2018. The Eldridge, Iowa native ranks 2nd in NCAA Division III with a completion percentage of .700. He owns the number five ranking for passing efficiency (179.6) and passing touchdowns (34). Sacia also ranks 10th in passing yards (3,071) and 47th in completion percentage (.13.59).
To be eligible for All-American consideration players must have received All-Region recognition. All-West Region teams, selected in balloting by regional sports information directors and
D3football.com staff, were chosen from 255 nominations by Division III member schools. A total of 78 players were chosen. 13 players from the American Rivers Conference were selected to the 2018 All-West Region team.
