WAVERLY, Iowa --- Fifth-ranked Wartburg College defeated Loras College, 81-21, Saturday to cap an undefeated regular season and put the finishing touches on the program's 14th Iowa Conference title.

The title is the second in a row for the Knights and the eighth under head coach Rick Willis.

The Knights (10-0) also earned the Iowa Conference's automatic berth into the 2014 NCAA Division III Football Championship and will host No. 20 St. Thomas (8-2) at noon Saturday at Walston-Hoover Stadium in Waverly.

The Tommies received an at-large berth to the Championship after tying Concordia-Moorhead and Bethel (Minn.) for second place in the MIAC.

This will be the first meeting between Wartburg and St. Thomas on the football field. Wartburg has six playoff wins in its program's history, including one last season.
