Complete D3football.com Team of the Week presented by Scoutware
CEDAR RAPIDS—Coe College punter Chase Cooling (sophomore, Cedar Rapids, Iowa / Xavier) was named to the D3football.com team of the week for his play in last week’s 42-19 victory at Luther.
Cooling was earlier named the Iowa Conference special teams player of the week.
Cooling averaged 48 yards on four punts, including a long of 74. In three games, he has punted only seven times, but averages 51.7 yards per kick and would be leading NCAA Division III if he had enough punts to qualify for the national statistical rankings.
No. 9/11-ranked Coe (3-0) plays host to No. 7/7 Central Saturday at 1 p.m. at Clark Field.
