Blesz, a sophomore kicker/tight end, was called to duty following the late scratch of starting kicker Taylor Buhmeyer and went 4-for-4 on extra-point attempts and made a 27-yard field goal with 5:19 remaining in the game which proved to be the margin of victory in the Duhawks’ 31-28 win over Central. The win was Loras’ first in Pella since 1941. Blesz, who also caught two passes for 16 yards, was kicking at the collegiate level for the first time.
