Berry, a senior, won the 103-runner Central Dutch Invitational, completing the 5,000-meter course in 18:30, 26 seconds ahead of the rest of the field and setting a new personal best time. Berry improved on her 2008 Central Invitational time by 22 seconds as the Dutch won won the team title.
