High School Verona Area Men’s Outdoor Track & Field – Field Performer of the Week Jatavion Hawkins, University of Dubuque Grad., Fitchburg, Wis./Verona Area Hawkins competed at the Wisconsin-Whitewater Drake Alternative. There were no teams score recorded. The graduate student competed in high jump and recorded a mark of 2.07 meters. He placed first out of 20 competitors. Hawkins now sits in fifth in Division III this outdoor season. Dubuque will compete one more time before the conference championship at their home event. This is the second time in Hawkins’ career he is earning Men’s Outdoor Field Performer of the Week (4/15/24, 4/29/24). Additionally, he has earned Indoor Field Performer of the Week accolades twice in his career (2/21/22, 2/19/24).
