The Norse went 2-0 as a team picking up wins over Concordia (Wisconsin) (6-3) and North Park (6-3). At No. 2 singles versus Concordia, she picked up a 2-6, 6-3, 10-6 over Sofia Buhr. She teamed up with Julianna Mascardo at No. 2 doubles, but fell to Buhr and Mallory Moen of CUW, 5-8. At No. 1 singles against North Park, the freshman defeated Alexandra Ristfeldt 2-6, 7-5, 11-9. Luther is now 16-5 overall this season after finishing a perfect 8-0 in conference action in the fall. The Norse are back on the courts twice this week against Wisconsin-La Crosse and Augustana as they gear up for the A-R-C AQ Tournament. The Marsberg, Germany native is garnering her first career Women’s Tennis Player of the Week accolade.
