The sophomore fired a 74 to tie for fourth out of 49 golfers. He finished three shots behind first place. The Storm fired a team score round of 303 to finish second out of nine teams. Simpson is back on the links in one week when they travel to Dike, Iowa to play at Fox Ridge Golf Course. This mark’s the Grimes, Iowa native’s first career Golfer of the Week accolade and first for Simpson since 2019.
