Game 1: Simpson 8, Buena Vista 1 – 2-for-4 (.500), 1 run Game 2: Simpson 11, Buena Vista 1 – 1-for-1 (1.000), 2 runs, RBI, 2B, BB, stolen base Game 3: Simpson 6, Dubuque 1 – 2-for-3 (.667), 1 run, 2 RBI, BB, 2 stolen bases Game 4: Simpson 9, Dubuque 3 – 3-for-3 (1.000), 2 runs, RBI, 3B, stolen base The sophomore went 8-for-11 at the plate over four conference wins against Buena Vista University and the University of Dubuque. Steen scored six runs and recorded four RBIs. The centerfielder for the Storm recorded a double and a triple, while drawing two walks and stealing four bases. Steen currently leads the conference in batting average (.477), hits (41), and triples (5). Simpson improved their overall record to 21-5 while starting conference play a perfect 4-0. Steen and the Simpson Storm will be back on the field this Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday for more conference action when they host Nebraska Wesleyan and travel to Loras and Wartburg. This is the second-straight week Steen is earning Position Player of the Week (4/8/24, 4/1/24).
