The senior recorded a school record 17 strikeouts over his 24 batters faced. In his seven innings of work, Blake allowed one hit and gave up a single walk. In four of his seven starts this season, he has recorded double-digit strikeouts. Blake currently ranks fifth in the conference sporting a 2.35 ERA. The Spartans are now 17-8 overall and 6-4 in A-R-C play. Dubuque will be in action again on Tuesday when they complete their series with Loras and end the week with a three-game series in Pella against Central.
