High School Edina Men’s Tennis – Player of the Week Luke Westholder, Luther College Jr., Edina, Minn./Edina The Norse began their spring break trip picking up a win over Endicott and falling to Franklin Pierce (NCAA Division II). In the dual Westholder appeared in, the Norse fell in a close one to Franklin Pierce 5-4. Westholder and Max Loen teamed up to defeat FPU’s Preston Gordon and Ralph Hiebel 8-7 (7-3) at No. 1 doubles. At No. 1 singles, the junior took down Joe Herin 6-1, 5-7, 10-8. Luther is now 9-4 overall and 2-0 in conference action as they continue to play down in Florida on spring break. Westholder was the 2022-23 Most Valuable Player. The Edina, Minnesota native is collecting his fifth career Men’s Tennis Player of the Week honor (9/26/22, 2/20/23, 3/27/23, 2/26/24, 3/18/24).
