At 197 pounds, Endene was the number one seed of the regional and dominated his competition. In his first matchup on the weekend, the junior took down Mason Clem of Millikin by tech fall, 17-2. He then picked up a victory over Elijah Brockie of North Central by fall in 1:35. Endene picked up another fall over Treyten Steffen of Cornell in 53 seconds in the semifinal round. In the championship bout, Endene took down Central’s Gage Linahon by fall in just 14 seconds. With his performance, he was named Most Outstanding Wrestler as he keeps his eye on winning another national title. Wartburg won the regional title by 30 points. The Knights have a week to rest before heading to La Crosse, Wisconsin on March 15 and 16 for the 2024 NCAA Division III Wrestling Championship. This is the second time the Dallas, Texas native is picking up Wrestler of the Week honors (12/11/23, 3/4/24).
