  • Tyynismaa and the No. 3-ranked Wartburg College Knights competed at the 2024 A-R-C Indoor Track & Field Championships, hosted at the University of Dubuque over the weekend where Tyynismaa was named the Women’s Track Most Valuable Performer.
  • The sophomore picked up a gold medal in the 60-meter hurdles, second-place finish in the 400-meter, and a third-place finish in the 200-meter dash. Additionally, Tyynismaa was the lead-off leg of the 4x400-meter relay that finished second.
  • In the 60-meter hurdles, Tyynismaa finished with a time of 8.89.
  • She set a new personal best mark in the 400-meter as she crossed the line in 57.69 to take home the silver medal.
  • Tyynismaa ran the 200-meter in a season best time of 25.76 to claim All-Conference honors.
  • The Wartburg 4x400-meter relay team ran 3:56.84 to finish runner-up in the final event of the championships.
