Hayley Crosland Award MVP Week Of 2/25/2024 Sport Women's Swimming & Diving School Luther College Year Freshman Position Backstorke, Freestyle Hometown Hanover, Minn. High School Crosland began her successful championship run in the 500-yard freestyle setting a new championship record with a time of 5:10.41 to finish first. The freshman led the 400-yard medley relay off as the team posted a new championship record time of 4:00.95. In the 200-yard medley relay, Crosland jumped off first for the Norse to just barely grab the gold medal and a new championship record with a time of 1:50.10. Individually in the 200-yard freestyle, Crosland set a new championship record while standing atop of the leaderboard with a time of 1:55.99. In the 200-yard freestyle, Crosland saw the wall first again with another championship record time of 1:56.92. Leading the Norse in another freestyle, Crosland and the quad finished the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of 7:58.26, a new championship record. Winning the 1650-yard freestyle relay by over 30 seconds, Crosland posted a time of 17:38.52, good enough for another championship record. Crosland finished the championship with Swimmer of the Meet honors on the women’s side following her excellent performance in the water. The Norse women won their second consecutive A-R-C Championship title with 778 points, a new championship meet record.
