Hayley Crosland Award Performer of the Week (Women) Week Of 1/22/2024 Sport Women's Swimming & Diving School Luther College Year Freshman Position Backstorke, Freestyle Hometown Hanover, Minn. High School Women’s Swim & Dive – Performer of the Week Hayley Crosland, Luther College Fr., Hanover, Minn./Buffalo Crosland and the Luther College Norse competed at the Grinnell College Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The Norse finished third as a team, collecting 671 points. Crosland claimed a first-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle on Friday with a time of 5:13.87. In the 1650-yard race, the first year finished in 18:15.11 to claim another first-place finish on the weekend. Crosland’s time is now the leading mark in the A-R-C. Additionally, Crosland placed third in the 200-yard freestyle after finishing with a time of 1:58.11. The Norse opted not to wear technical racing suits this weekend as they prepare for the A-R-C Championships coming up in February, making Crosland’s performances even more impressive. This is the Hanover, Minnesota native’s first-time earning Performer of the Week honors.
