Sara Faber Award Player of the Week Week Of 1/15/2024 Sport Women's Basketball School Wartburg College Year Senior Position Hometown Clear Lake, Iowa High School Clear Lake Women’s Basketball – Player of the Week Sara Faber, Wartburg College Sr., G, Clear Lake, Iowa/Clear Lake Faber and the No. 12/12 Wartburg Knights picked up a conference win over Buena Vista (80-61) on Sunday. Faber led all scorers with a career high of 28 points while shooting 40% from the field. Additionally, the senior had five steals, three assists, and two rebounds. The Knights improved to 14-2 overall and remain a perfect 7-0 in A-R-C play. Wartburg and Faber will cross the halfway point of the conference season this week when they host Coe College on Wednesday and travel to Central on Saturday. Faber was the A-R-C MVP a season ago. This marks her first-career Player of the Week honor.
