High School Madison West Women’s Swim & Dive – Performer of the Week Ren Talerico, Luther College Fr., Madison, Wis./Madison West Talerico helped guide the Norse to their first team victory in 2024 over Loras on Saturday (170-66). The freshman earned two individual and one relay victory in the dual. She finished first with a time of 2:02.72 in the 200-yard freestyle. In the 500-yard freestyle, Talerico finished with a time of 5:29.87. In the 200-yard freestyle relay, her quad recorded a time of 1:44.38. Talerico and Luther are back in the pool on January 13 when they host the Norse Sprint Invite. This is the Madison, Wisconsin native’s first-time earning Performer of the Week honors.
