High School Crystal Lake Central Women’s Basketball – Player of the Week Madison Haslow, Loras College Fifth Yr., F, Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake Central Haslow and the Duhawks picked up two conference wins over Buena Vista (97-46) and Central (78-62). The fifth year forward tied a school record for made three-pointers in the contest against Buena Vista, when she recorded eight made shots from beyond the arc. Haslow recorded 24 points in the win over the Beavers while additionally grabbing four rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks. Against Central, Haslow continued her dominance from beyond the arc going 3-for-3. She finished with 11 points, nine rebounds, three steals and one block in the victory over the Dutch. The No. RV/24-ranked Duhawks improved their record to 12-2 overall and 4-1 in the A-R-C. Haslow and Loras will be back on the hardwood twice at home this week when they host Luther on Wednesday and Simpson on Saturday. This marks her first-career Player of the Week honor.
