The graduate student scored his career-high 24 points against Wartburg while also recording five rebounds, four steals, and three assists. Following up his career-high performance, Simon put up 23 points with four rebounds and two blocks against Buena Vista. Over the two games, the guard shot 18-for-23 from the field and 7-for-9 beyond the arc. The No. 24-ranked University of Dubuque is 13-0 overall for just the fourth time in school history, while moving to 5-0 in league play. Dubuque is in for a tough week on the court when they travel to Cedar Rapids to take on Coe on Wednesday and then travelling to Pella to face Central on Saturday. Simon was the 2021-22 Defensive Player of the Year for the A-R-C. The Cascade, Iowa native is picking up his second-career Player of the Week accolade (11/28/22, 1/8/24).
