Bennett Sherry Award Player of the Week Week Of 12/18/2023 Sport Men's Basketball School Coe College Year Junior Position Forward Hometown Fitchburg, WI High School Verona Area Men’s Basketball – Player of the Week Bennett Sherry, Coe College Jr., F, Fitchburg, Wis./Verona Area Sherry had a stellar week for the Kohawks while going 2-0 in non-conference action. Coe picked up wins over Cornell (73-53) and North Central (Minn.) (72-70). He began his week against Cornell with a career high 30 points, shooting 13-for-22 (59%). Additionally, he grabbed four rebounds, four blocks, three assists, and one steal in the win. In their second contest of the week, Sherry shot 56% from the field for 21 points. The junior forward recorded four rebounds, two assists and two blocks. The Kohawks are not in action again until December 30 when they travel up north to Gustavus Adolphus. (RV) Coe is 11-1 overall and 4-0 in A-R-C play so far this season. The Fitchburg, Wisconsin native is garnering his second Player of the Week honor in his career (11/27/23, 12/18/23).
