He began the day with a win by a 11-7 decision over Kam Royster of Loras. His next win came with a 6-4 decision over Augsburg’s Brandt Bombard. The sophomore took down returning national qualifier, Jared Voss, from Coe with a 3-0 decision. His only loss of the day came to Division I wrestler, Brennan Swafford, from Iowa with a 20-4 tech fall loss. He finished the day on a high note defeating returning Division II All-American, Colter Bye from Upper Iowa. The Knights are back on the mat this Saturday at the Concordia-Wisconsin Open in Mequon, Wisconsin. This is the first time the Urbandale, Iowa native is picking up Wrestler of the Week honors.
