Madi Parson Award Offensive Player of the Week Week Of 11/13/2023 Sport Volleyball School Coe College Year Position Pin Hometown Clinton, Iowa High School Camanche Volleyball – Offensive Player of the Week Madi Parson, Coe College 5th Year, PIN, Clinton, Iowa/Camanche Parson was a key component to the Kohawks success through the A-R-C Volleyball Tournament. Coe took down No. 6-seed Loras (3-0), No. 2-seed Nebraska Wesleyan (3-1), and No. 1-seed Dubuque (3-1) en route to their second consecutive tournament title. The fifth-year senior recorded 42 kills in the three matches through the tournament. Additionally, she posted a .224 hitting percentage, with just 16 errors in 116 attempts, and eight service aces. She finished the week with a team high of 54 digs, making only two reception errors. Parson and the Kohawks will not go too far from home as they open the NCAA Tournament at Cornell College against No. 6-ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater. After the highly successful week, Coe improves to 21-11 overall and 6-2 in the league as they move into the NCAA Tournament. The Clinton, Iowa native is picking up her second-career Offensive Player of the Week honor (10/24/22, 11/13/23), in addition to being named Defensive Player of the Week once in her career (10/3/22).
