Grace Lueken Award Defensive Player of the Week Week Of 11/13/2023 Sport Volleyball School Coe College Year Senior Position Middle Hitter Hometown Dubuque, Iowa High School Wahlert Catholic Volleyball – Defensive Player of the Week Grace Lueken, Coe College Sr., M, Dubuque, Iowa/Wahlert Lueken continued her impressive season as she helped guide the Kohawks to back-to-back A-R-C Tournament titles. Being the No. 3-seed, Coe had to take down No. 6-seed Loras (3-0), No. 2-seed Nebraska Wesleyan (3-1), and No. 1-seed Dubuque (3-1) to hoist the tournament trophy on Saturday. Lueken recorded 39 digs, 32 kills, with only five errors, and ten blocks over the three tournament games. Additionally, she recorded three solo blocks and seven assists. The Kohawks are headed to the NCAA Tournament again where they will face No. 6-ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater on Thursday at a time to be determined. Coe moved their record to 21-11 overall and 6-2 in the A-R-C after a 3-0 week as they prepare to compete in the NCAA Tournament. The Dubuque, Iowa native is earning her second-career Defensive Player of the Week honor (11/7/22, 11/13/23).
