High School Omaha Westside Men’s Swim & Dive – Performer of the Week Eli Gosnell, Nebraska Wesleyan University Sr., Omaha, Neb./Omaha Westside Gosnell picked up two wins and a runner-up finish on Friday over Simpson College. The senior individually won the 200-yard IM with a time of 2:05.80 and picked up a 200-yard medley relay win with a time of 1:39.13. Additionally, he finished in second in the 100-yard backstroke recording a time of 58.68. The Prairie Wolves defeated Simpson by a score of 160-17. Nebraska Wesleyan remains a perfect 6-0 and has recorded a 3-0 record over league opponents. Gosnell and the P-Wolves will be back in the pool this Friday-Sunday at the Phoenix Fall Classic, hosted by the University of Chicago. The Omaha, Nebraska native is garnering his first Performer of the Week honor.
