Buena Vista is beginning the 2023 campaign 2-0 with wins over Westminster, 127-68, and Fontbonne, 93-74. The senior averaged 24.5 points while shooting 59% from the field and 55% from behind the arc. He was a perfect 7-for-7 from the line. Additionally, he recorded ten rebounds, four steals, and two blocks. He surpassed the 1,000 career points mark with his second basket of the game on Sunday versus Fontbonne. The Beavers are back in action on Sunday when they host Northland College. Neubaum has earned second-team All-Conference honors the last three seasons. The Rockwell City, Iowa native is collecting his fourth-career Player of the Week accolade (12/13/21, 2/14/22, 11/14/22, 11/13/23).
