Mia Prater Award Performer of the Week Week Of 10/23/2023 Sport Women's Swimming & Diving School Luther College Year Freshman Position Butterfly, Freestyle Hometown Superior, Colo. High School Monarch Women’s Swim & Dive – Performer of the Week Mia Prater, Luther College Fr., Superior, Colo./Monarch Prater helped lift the Norse to two victories on Saturday at a double dual versus Simpson and Nebraska Wesleyan. Luther took down Simpson (188-43) and Nebraska Wesleyan (173-64). The freshman competed in three events and won each of them. In the 200-yard medley relay, Luther took gold after a time of 1:52.91. In the 50-yard freestyle, she recorded a time of 24.21, and in the 100-yard freestyle, she posted a time of 53.34. Prater and the Norse will be back in action on Saturday at Gustavus Adolphus in St. Peter, Minnesota. This is the Superior, Colorado native’s first-time earning Performer of the Week honors.
