High School Mabel-Canton Volleyball – Offensive Player of the Week Sarina Stortz, Luther College Sr., MB, Mabel, Minn./Mabel-Canton Stortz led the Norse to a 1-3 week including a conference loss to Wartburg (1-3) and going 1-2 on their trip to Texas. While in Texas, Luther defeated Concordia-Texas (3-2) while falling to LeTourneau (1-3) and Mary Hardin-Baylor (1-3). Over the four matches, Stortz compiled 68 kills while hitting .390 overall. Additionally, she recorded 20 blocks and nine digs. In the five-set thriller over Concordia-Texas, Stortz recorded a season high of 26 kills and had a hitting percentage of .393. Luther moves their record to 7-16 overall and 1-4 in the league. The Norse will host Dubuque on Wednesday for an A-R-C match. The senior has been named to A-R-C Honorable Mention in both the 2021 and 2022 seasons. The Mabel, Minnesota native is collecting her first-career Offensive Player of the Week accolade.
