Ronaldo Ordaz Award Offensive Player of the Week Week Of 10/16/2023 Sport Men's Soccer School Simpson College Year Senior Position Hometown Marshalltown, Iowa High School Marshalltown Men’s Soccer – Offensive Player of the Week Ronaldo Ordaz, Simpson College Sr., F, Marshalltown, Iowa/Marshalltown Ordaz was the driving force for the Simpson Storm’s two conference wins against Nebraska Wesleyan and Loras over the week. The Storm defeated Nebraska Wesleyan 2-1 on Tuesday before heading over to Loras College on Saturday and bringing home a 5-2 victory. Ordaz assisted the opening goal in the victory against the Prairie Wolves. The senior forward was involved in four of the five goals in Saturday’s contest, scoring two penalty kicks and providing two assists. The Marshalltown native now leads the conference in points (35), goals (13), and assists (9). Simpson improved to 7-7 overall and 4-1 in league play. Ordaz and the Storm will be back on the pitch Wednesday when they travel to the University of Dubuque. This is Ordaz’ fourth-career Offensive Player of the Week honor (10/16/23, 10/10/23, 9/18/23, 10/24/22).
