High School Fort Meyers Football – Offensive Player of the Week Mani Brown, Loras College Jr., WR, Fort Meyers, Fla./Fort Meyers Brown assisted the Duhawks in picking up a double overtime victory over Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday (41-38). The junior recorded nine receptions for 128 yards and two touchdowns, including the game winning score in the second overtime. His longest reception went for 29-yards. Additionally, he completed his first pass of his career, a 38-yard toss that went in for six points, to make him responsible for three of Loras’ touchdowns on the game. The Duhawks improve to 3-3 overall and 2-2 in the league as they get set to host the No. 3-ranked Wartburg Knights on Saturday at the Rock Bowl. The Fort Meyers, Florida native is earning his second-career Offensive Player of the Week honor (9/18/23, 10/16/23).
